About American Pipeline Inspectors Association
American Pipeline Inspectors Association (APIA) is a new organization founded by experienced pipeline training and compliance professionals, dedicated to helping inspectors get the jobs they want, while helping inspection companies and pipeline operators find the inspectors they need.
APIA allows inspectors the opportunity to “own” their operator-qualification (OQ) training, and keep it updated and active for the duration of the certification (typically three years).
- OQ training once in three years instead of every time you change projects, locations or companines
- OQ updates and re-qualifications ensure that you are always ready to work
